Little Trip To the Big City

Happy weekend, friends! Hubs, Huxley and I hopped on two planes, one taxi, and one train yesterday to head up to N.J./NYC for s short work/vacation jaunt. I’m giving What I’m Digging a little break this week, as, in all honesty, I was too busy writing and cooking and packing and teaching a class and more all week in prep for our trip to really spend much time online. I’ll be back with my discoveries next week, though!

We’re off to a pumpkin patch in just a bit, to munch on apple cider doughnuts, sip hot apple cider, go on a hayride, and wade ankle-deep in pumpkins. I LOVE this kind of thing!

I’ll be back early next week, to give you the scoop on what we’re doing up here. I’ll tell you this much-I’m here on account of these folks and will be attending a very exciting dinner on Monday night here. Details to come!

Oh, before I go, I wanted to let you know I’ve got a Small Measures post up on Design Sponge. I’m chatting about making a apple-stamp table runner. It’s incredibly easy to make and will give your space a whimsical, customize autumnal touch.

Wherever you go this weekend, whatever you do, and whomever you do it with, may it be grand!
